Privacy Policy

The Fit ("we", "us") is a personal-styling service powered by automated recommendations. This policy explains what
we collect on this website and in The Fit app, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, used only to contact you about The Fit's launch and early access.
- App preferences: in the app, we store the style preferences you set (aesthetics, occasions, sizes, budget leaning, region) and your interactions with outfits (saves, skips, taps) to personalize your feed. Accounts are pseudonymous during early access: a random identifier, not your name.
- Photos you upload: the Restyle feature analyses a photo you choose in order to recreate the look from shoppable products. Photos are processed for that request and are not retained after the analysis completes, and are never used to train models.
- Shopping clicks: when you tap through to a retailer we record the click (product, time, a pseudonymous user reference) so we can attribute any affiliate commission. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data.
- We don't send marketing on behalf of third parties.
- We don't use your photos for anything other than the styling request you made.
Service providers
We use infrastructure and technology providers to run the service (hosting, database,
and machine-learning models for styling analysis). These providers process data on our behalf under
their own confidentiality obligations. Purchases happen on the retailer's own site
under the retailer's privacy policy; we never see your payment details.
Retention & your choices
Waitlist emails are kept until launch communications end or you ask to be removed.
App preference data is kept while your profile is active. You can request access to,
or deletion of, your data at any time by emailing
hello@thefit.style.

We'll update this page as the product evolves and change the date above. Material
changes will be flagged in the app or by email.
